Mozart's masterful music begins with the overture and continues through the last notes of the finale. This is one of the most performed operas in the world and rightly so. CAST LIST

This is the most famous operatic retelling of the fabled forbidden-love tragedy. Often said to be the closest opera to the original Shakespeare, it's also the most frequently staged because of its soaring melodies and grand scale. CAST LIST

Even Richard Rogers himself claimed this as the favorite of all the musicals he wrote - and deservedly so with its famously beautiful songs, moving story and unforgettable characters. This show will undoubtedly be a suitable way to close out our 2010 season. CAST LIST

Children's Opera - July 10, 10:00 & 11:30 am
This operatic re-telling of the classic fairy-tale story mixes in music from Gounod's opera Faust. Put together by Denise Page Caraher, the action-packed opera, with its larger-than-life characters, shows that love and friendship are more important that materials goods. The 30-minute show will be sure to please audiences of all ages. The show is FREE but reservations are suggested. CAST LIST

Vespers Concerts - July 18, 25 & August 1, 8, 15, 5 pm
Our concerts of sacred choral music and vocal solos have been a Schroon Lake tradition for most of our 95 year history. All Vespers concerts are open to the public and seating is first-come, first-serve, so arrive early to find your preferred seat.
Patrice Munsel Gala - July 10
The Patrice Munsel Gala is Seagle Music Colony's largest annual fund-raising event. Its goal is to raise substantial funds to support the young artist program of Seagle Music Colony. The Gala is a full evening including an elegant dinner, drinks, dessert and dancing, as well as entertainment by the Seagle Music Colony Young Artists.
